Build Sprints vs TCS, Infosys, Wipro & the large IT services firms
The large firms are not bad at what they do. They are built for a different job: very large, multi-year, multi-country programmes where procurement and indemnity matter more than speed. Most companies buying from them do not have that job.
TCS, Infosys, Wipro & the large IT services firms, as published
Typically multi-year contracts with blended day rates, staffed as a pyramid of a few senior and many junior engineers. Scope changes are handled as priced change requests. Rates and terms are negotiated, not published.

Where TCS, Infosys, Wipro & the large IT services firms is better
- Genuine scale — they can put hundreds of people on a programme, and we cannot
- Procurement, indemnity, insurance and compliance paperwork that large enterprises require
- Deep domain benches in regulated industries built over decades
- Global delivery centres with 24/7 coverage and formal escalation paths
- If you are replacing a core banking system, you should be talking to them, not us
Where Build Sprints is better
- The price is on the page before you talk to anyone
- Senior engineers only — no pyramid, no bench to keep billable
- A sprint has a last day, and the deliverable ownership is stated in the SOW
- We build on components we already own, so you aren't funding plumbing from zero
So which one
Choose TCS, Infosys, Wipro & the large IT services firms if…
Choose a large firm if you need hundreds of people, formal indemnity, a global 24/7 delivery model, or if your procurement process requires a vendor of that size. These are legitimate requirements and we do not meet them.
Choose Build Sprints if…
Choose a sprint if you know roughly what you need, want a number before you commit, and would rather have four senior engineers for a month than forty people for a year.
